Biography
Dr. Hector RiveraMelo graduated with honors from Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCU) in the fall of 2009 with a doctorate in chiropractic (DC), and shortly after began a residency in radiology there. In 2012, Dr. RiveraMelo completed his residency and was awarded the title of Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Radiologists (DACBR). Having a passion for teaching and radiology, Dr. RiveraMelo decided to pursue a teaching position at SCU. In 2017 Dr. RiveraMelo obtained his certificate in musculoskeletal ultrasound (RMSK®). He is currently the Director for the Center of Diagnostic Imaging, head radiologist and Assistant Clinical Professor at SCU, where he teaches several radiology courses. He has lectured at numerous seminars and conferences across the United States on various imaging related topics.Certifications
