Transfer status is available to applicants accepted into the Doctor of Chiropractic and Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine program. As per California State Board requirements, the minimum amount of time a student can attend SCU and earn an SCU degree is one academic year, and it must be the last year of their education.
Advanced standing for Doctor of Chiropractic and Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine program is based on the college dean’s evaluations of the student’s transcripts and capabilities, and if necessary, by placement exams which are administered after acceptance. Credit will not be allowed for courses in which the applicant has received a grade lower than “C” (or equivalent).
Transfer applicants must follow the general application procedures for the appropriate program listed above. In addition, they must provide official transcripts from each professional program attended and a letter of good standing from the professional program from which they wish to transfer.
