Biography

Ana Facchinato graduated as a chiropractor in the first graduating class of Latin America by Anhembi Morumbi University - Laureate International Universities (São Paulo - Brazil) among the first students of the class. She was selected for a post-graduate scholarship at the University of Western States where she studied for 6 months. She also holds a Master's Degree in Health Sciences from Cruzeiro do Sul University (São Paulo-Brazil), and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences - Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. Her experience in chiropractic education started in 2005 when she became an instructor of chiropractic techniques at University Anhembi Morumbi, and later in 2009 she became the Dean of that program. She has published papers in Chiropractic Education and presented lectures on the development of chiropractic education in Brazil in countries such as Australia, United States and Mexico. She has served as the Clinical Education Department Chair, as well as the Community Based Clinical Education Director at SCUHS. She currently serves as the Vice President for the Council of Chiropractic Education - Latin America (CCE-LA) and is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Chiropractic Education.
