Professional School Pathways & Articulation Partners
SCU’s Master of Science in Medical Sciences (MSMS) program helps students prepare for the next step in their healthcare careers. Through partnerships and formal articulation agreements with select institutions, qualified MSMS students and graduates may receive benefits such as guaranteed interviews, priority or expedited admissions review, scholarships, application fee waivers, and other admissions advantages.

American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine
American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine (AUC) offers a Doctor of Medicine (MD) program with a US-modeled basic sciences curriculum and clinical training opportunities at affiliated teaching hospitals. MSMS graduates with an undergraduate GPA of 3.2 or higher are guaranteed an admissions interview.
Eligible students accepted to AUC may also qualify for an SCU Partner Scholarship of $10,000 or $7,500, depending on undergraduate GPA. Additional admissions and scholarship requirements may apply.
A.T. Still University of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (ATSU-SOMA)
A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (ATSU-SOMA) offers a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) program with an emphasis on whole-person healthcare and service to underserved communities. Five admissions interview slots are reserved each year for qualified SCU MSMS graduates.
Students must meet ATSU-SOMA’s applicable admissions and program requirements to be considered for one of the reserved interview opportunities.
Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine
Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine offers a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) program focused on preparing students for careers as osteopathic physicians. Qualified MSMS students may receive priority status in the admissions process, expedited admissions review, enhanced advising and support, and a guaranteed interview when requirements are met and seats are available.
To qualify, students must successfully complete the MSMS program, earn a minimum cumulative and science GPA of 3.0, complete required prerequisite coursework with a grade of “C” or better, earn a minimum MCAT score of 495, and meet Noorda’s additional admissions requirements.
Ponce Health Sciences University
Ponce Health Sciences University (PHSU) offers a Doctor of Medicine (MD) program focused on preparing future physicians to serve diverse communities. Students graduating in the top 20% of SCU’s MSMS class are offered an interview for PHSU’s MD program.
Students must also meet PHSU’s applicable admissions requirements. Students admitted to the Puerto Rico campus must demonstrate competency in Spanish.
Ross University School of Medicine
Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM) offers a Doctor of Medicine (MD) program designed to prepare students for careers as physicians. MSMS graduates with an undergraduate GPA of 3.2 or higher are guaranteed an admissions interview.
Eligible students accepted to RUSM may also qualify for an SCU Partner Scholarship of $10,000 or $7,500, depending on undergraduate GPA. Additional admissions and scholarship requirements may apply.
American University of Antigua College of Medicine
American University of Antigua College of Medicine (AUA) offers a Doctor of Medicine (MD) program focused on preparing students for careers in medicine. MSMS graduates with both a cumulative undergraduate GPA and cumulative GPA in recommended courses of 3.0 or higher are guaranteed admission and an $80,000 scholarship.
MSMS graduates below the 3.0 GPA threshold are guaranteed an admissions interview and, if accepted, a minimum $20,000 scholarship. AUA also provides dedicated informational sessions for SCU students.
Shenandoah University
Shenandoah University’s Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy offers a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program designed to prepare students for careers across a range of pharmacy and healthcare settings. Qualified SCU MSMS graduates receive priority admissions consideration and a guaranteed interview when requirements are met and seats are available.
Students must earn a minimum cumulative MSMS GPA of 3.0, complete required prerequisite coursework, successfully complete an interview, and provide two letters of recommendation from MSMS faculty.
Keiser University – Doctor of Health Science
Keiser University offers a Doctor of Health Science (DHSc) program for students seeking advanced education in health sciences and healthcare leadership. Qualified MSMS students may receive a GRE recommendation waiver, application fee waiver, expedited admissions review, and scholarship consideration.
Students must meet Keiser University’s applicable admissions and program requirements. Scholarship eligibility and availability are determined by Keiser University.

MSMS students pursuing admission through an articulation partner receive additional support throughout the professional school application process, including:
- Professional school application planning
- Personal statement and application review
- Interview preparation and mock interviews
- Guidance on strengthening their application
- Professional school and career advising
- Assistance understanding partner-specific eligibility and application requirements
Students remain responsible for completing the partner institution’s application, meeting all admissions and prerequisite requirements, and submitting required documentation by published deadlines.

Participation in an articulation agreement does not guarantee admission unless explicitly stated by the applicable partner agreement. Final admissions decisions remain with the partner institution.
