Biography
Dr. Keith Schuchardt attained his Bachelors and Master’s of Science in Exercise Science from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and California University of Pennsylvania, respectively. He worked professionally in health and fitness for a decade as a personal trainer, strength and conditioning coach, and corporate fitness specialist prior to returning to graduate school and becoming a licensed physical therapist. While working in health and fitness he has held certifications including the NSCA-CSCS, ACSM-Certified Exercise Physiology, and currently holds his fitness certification through the NASM.
Dr. Schuchardt achieved his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ. Additionally, he is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Clinically, Dr. Schuchardt has worked in outpatient orthopedics, occupational health, and pediatric sports medicine with experience as a clinical instructor and clinic director. In addition to working clinically, Dr. Schuchardt has worked in higher education teaching undergraduate and graduate level Anatomy and Physiology and Exercise Science for students in nursing, exercise science, pre-physical therapy, Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Masters of Physician Assistant Studies programs.
Dr. Schuchardt is located in the Phoenix, AZ metro area and lives with his wife, son and two dogs. He is an avid ice hockey player/fan and enjoys weightlifting, snowboarding, hiking and spending time with his family.
