Biography

Dr. Herson Mojica is a licensed clinical psychologist with a master’s degree in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena and a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. He specializes in comprehensive psychological assessment for children, adolescents, and adults.Dr. Mojica’s therapeutic approach is integrative, culturally responsive, and rooted in psychodynamic theory, reality-based interventions, and humanistic principles. He provides psychotherapy in both English and Spanish to individuals and couples, addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, and identity development. He also offers affirmative therapy for members of the LGBT community.In graduate education, Dr. Mojica teaches Case Conference II/Second Year Comprehensive Exam and Evaluation and Analysis of Psychological Assessment I & II, guiding students in the integration of theory, clinical practice, and assessment. He has also served in academic leadership roles, including chair of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and coordinator for student accommodations.
