Biography
Dr. Nicholas Parton graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2011 and has an anticipated graduation for a Doctor of Health Science in 2026 from the University of Indianapolis.
His professional experience includes orthopedic, neurologic, sports, and geriatric rehabilitation and he is a Geriatric Certified Specialist. He maintains additional certifications in sports, orthopedics, and neurological physical therapy in addition to advancing clinical expertise.
Nicholas is interested in helping students find themselves and develop their own inner voice with critical thinking and reasoning in additon to professional practical skills. His academic experiences began as a clinical instructor and he has held full-time faculty roles since 2022.
Interests include course development, EBP and clinical skill advancement, endurance sports and athletics, and physical therapy for older individuals as they journey through life.
