Dr. Joel Carmichael is a distinguished chiropractic physician with 40 years of clinical experience. He holds a DC from Logan University (1985, valedictorian) and a PhD from University of Colorado (2021). He currently serves in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, as an Associate Professor at Universidad Central del Caribe, and as an Affiliate Faculty Member at the Southern California University of Health Sciences. Dr. Carmichael is the Director of Research at the Chiropractic Outcomes Research Institute in Denver, Colorado, and he continues in active practice at The Center for Spine, Sport & Physical Medicine. He was privileged to serve at the 2012 Olympic Games as lead provider for the USA Beach Volleyball team.
