Dr. O’Connor graduated with her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Heath Promotion & Disease Prevention from the University of Southern California in 2013, received her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Mount Saint Mary’s University in 2020, and resides in Los Angeles, CA. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Leadership in the Health Sciences from the University of the Cumberlands. She is an ABPTA Board Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist (NCS). She is also a certified Vestibular Rehabilitation therapist through the American Institute of Balance and is a certified Pilates Instructor through Balanced Body.

Dr. O’Connor has experience teaching a range of courses across several Doctor of Physical Therapy programs in Los Angeles including foundational courses, kinesiology, neurologic curriculum and human anatomy with cadaver labs.

Her clinical experience with patients is in outpatient neurologic rehabilitation, treating a wide variety of neurologic diagnoses including CVA, Parkinson’s Disease, SCI, Multiple Sclerosis, ALS, Guillain-Barre, mild TBI, Vestibular dysfunction, and other rare diagnoses. She has mentored many students as a Clinical Instructor from DPT programs across Southern California. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Neurologic Section of the APTA. 

Outside of her professional work, she enjoys reading, running, traveling, and spending time with her husband, son, cat and dog.
