Biography
Dr. Rodgers is an analytical and passionate Public Health Leader, Program Director, and Professor, who is well-versed in higher education, epidemiology, and community health. Her experience includes strategic leadership, data collection and evaluation, policy reports/presentations, and collaboration across functions as well as with external stakeholders. Dr. Rodgers has a proven record of planning, creating, and facilitating instruction for in-person, as well as virtual university courses (including curriculum development), and assessing student performance.
Dr. Rodgers has demonstrated the ability to conduct extensive research; leading studies related to health equity and providing high-quality program oversight prior to developing and implementing strategic plans resulting in improved health outcomes. She is skilled at procuring program funds via effective grant writing and proposal development and is intimately familiar with the National Institute of Health (NIH), American Public Health Association, and the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing.
