My name is Virgil Junio. I am a Southern California University of Health Sciences Alumni graduating from the MSPA program (Class of 2019). I started my journey in the medical field as a respiratory therapist in 2007. Mainly worked in acute hospital care and ventilator BLS/ALS transport. However, after over 10 years of working in the field of respiratory care I decided to pursue Medicine. In 2019, I became part of the SCU MSPA 2nd graduating class. I currently hold a Prinipal faculty position on the clinical team. I am married to nurse practiioner and we have an amazing son. 

It gives me such excitement that I get to teach the students that come after me. I am passionate about their outcomes as I can relate to their journey!
