Emily Larson-McQuaid has been a Physician Assistant since 2017 after graduating from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL with a Masters of Medical Sciences. She currently works in Surgical Oncology and spent the first 6 years of her career practicing in Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care. Prior to PA school, she completed her bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from UC San Diego in 2014. Emily appreciates the collaborative effort it takes to work in medicine to deliver safe, efficient, and quality care. She initially started working with PA students in the Emergency Department during their clinical rotations, where she learned she enjoyed working with students and helping people grow professionally. Emily is a certified Physician Assistant by the NCCPA as well as a member of AAPA (American Academy of Physician Associates). She is also a NCAA Softball National Champion from UC San Diego. She enjoys spending time watching softball games, and spending time with friends and family.
