Biography

Dr. Elaine Nabel earned both her Master of Science and Doctorate in School-Clinical Child Psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology in New York. Her clinical training spans a range of evidence-based and psychodynamic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family Systems, as well as Psychodynamic and Psychoanalytic theories.Dr. Nabel has worked in diverse clinical settings, including Lincoln Medical Center, the Mount Sinai World Trade Center Program, and St. Dominic’s Foster Care. She currently maintains a private practice in West Los Angeles, where she works with children, adolescents, and adults. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Nabel teaches at the New Center for Psychoanalysis and Reiss-Davis Graduate School.
