Dr. Chantelle Lessard-Chaudoin serves as the Founding Program Director for the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program at SCU’s Phoenix, Arizona campus. An Associate Professor with extensive experience in physician assistant education, public health, and clinical practice, she has contributed to the development of innovative residential and online graduate programs designed to support diverse adult learners through integrated educational technologies.A practicing Family Medicine Physician Assistant, Dr. Lessard-Chaudoin specializes in primary care and clinical research, with a commitment to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care. Her educational philosophy centers on evidence-based teaching that prepares future physician assistants to provide compassionate, collaborative, and high-quality healthcare while emerging as leaders within the profession.Dr. Lessard-Chaudoin is a dedicated advocate for health equity and whole-person care, aligning closely with SCU’s mission to improve the health and well-being of individuals and communities. Her scholarly interests include mental health among healthcare professionals, interprofessional education to support team-based care, and global preventive health initiatives.She holds a Doctor of Medical Science in Leadership, a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies, a Master of Public Health in Community Health Education, and a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education. Outside of academia and clinical practice, she enjoys exploring Arizona and traveling internationally with family and friends, embracing opportunities to learn from diverse cultures and perspectives.
