Joanne Spillman has worked with preschoolers through adults in various educational capacities for over 20 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English/business from Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO, a paralegal certificate, and a master’s in Adult/E-education from the University of Phoenix.

 Her love of reading and language started as a child, and she enjoys sharing that love with her students. She feels it is important to view each student as an individual with their learning style and with that, build on and expand the knowledge they already have. In her spare time, Joanne likes to read, take classes, watch sports, follow politics, exercise, and spend time with her adult son.

 She is also a “Jeopardy” fanatic and loves trivia. After a brief period away from the world of education, Joanne is excited to be back doing what she enjoys most.
