Biography
Dr. Bianca Callier, OTD, OTR/L, CTIS is a licensed occupational therapist and doctoral graduate of West Coast University, Center for Graduate Studies. She brings a diverse background in pediatrics, academia, hand therapy, community-based occupational therapy, and aquatic therapy.
Since 2021, Dr. Callier has served as a clinical instructor, teaching across multiple areas including mental health, adult populations, professionalism, and NBCOT preparation. She is deeply committed to mentoring capstone students, guiding them in program development and supporting their growth as future practitioners. For her own doctoral capstone, she designed and implemented a Trauma-Informed Aquatic Wellness Program, and she continues to create innovative community-based programs such as caregiver training initiatives and wellness programs.
Dr. Callier is equally passionate about leadership and professional service. She has held several positions within the Occupational Therapy Association of California (OTAC), including serving on the Membership and Conference Committees and completing a three-year term as Region 2 Director. Through these roles, she has contributed to advancing the profession and fostering collaboration among practitioners statewide.
Her professional philosophy emphasizes culturally inclusive, trauma-informed care, with a focus on promoting wellness and accessibility for diverse populations. Beyond her work, Dr. Callier enjoys cooking, swimming, spending time at the beach with her family, and creating floral arrangements.
