Biography

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from SCU in 1999, and have been in private practice in California and Nevada. I was on the Dean’s list for all 10 terms, a member of the Delta Sigma Honorary Scholastic Society, and scored in the 94th percentile on both the Chiropractic National Board Exams, and the Nevada State Chiropractic Physicians’ Board Exam. In 1999, I became a Certified Specialist in Performance Nutrition (C.S.P.N.). In 2000 I became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.). At the time I was one of only 300 worldwide that was both a C.S.C.S. and a Doctor of Chiropractic. I was on the medical team for the World Shotokan Karate Championships in 1997 in Riverside, CA. I have treated approximately 6000 patients including amateur, professional, and gold medal athletes, fire, police, military, and Special Forces personnel, in both California and Nevada. I was an E.M.T. II for 5 years, and I have been certified in CPR and BLS since 1989. I served as the Interim Chair of the Principles and Practice Department from Feb. 2020 through Aug. 2020, and as the Interim Associate Dean for LACC from Sept. 2018 - Sept. 2019. I served as the Co-Chair of the Basic Sciences Department from Jan 2017 - Sept. 2018. I have served as the Director of the five Community Based Internship Programs for 3 years (supervising staff and faculty and approx. 200 private practice doctors who supervised our interns.), as well as being the Chair of the Clinical Internship Department for two years. This included supervising approx. 250 clinical students and their activities from terms 5 -10 including 14 clinics and 2 special rotations, 19 clinicians and staff, and community service events.
