Kerry Homotoff, MPAP, PA-C
Email: [email protected]
Kerry Homotoff had a goal of entering the world of medicine since she was eight years old. Her experience prior to obtaining her Master of Physician Assistant Practice at the University of Southern California in 2009 makes her a perfect fit for SCU.
She became certified as a massage therapist as a means to earn a living while obtaining her education. Through this career, she worked with chiropractors, physical therapists, and athletic trainers. Ms. Homotoff recognized the importance of understanding human behavior in patient interactions and effectively treating them, which is why she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Southern California in 2004.
Since becoming a PA-C, Ms. Homotoff’s clinical experience has been focused in emergency medicine. She also brings experience in orthopedic surgery, addiction medicine, and occupational medicine.
In addition to her clinical interests, she has also pursued her desire to teach. She has 6 years of teaching experience as a clinical instructor at two different PA programs in southern California. She is excited to continue to develop and prepare students to be the types of clinicians she would be proud to have care for her loved ones.
Below is a quote that drives her both personally and as an instructor:
"Study principles rather than methods. A mind that grasps principles will devise its own methods."
