Biography

Mr. K. Wayne Peacock is an accomplished C-Level technology executive with extensive expertise in program, portfolio, and product management, as well as data strategy, security, and access. His career has led him into various business environments including technology, entertainment, and e-commerce. He currently is leading the Analytics department with Walmart Fulfillment. Prior to that, in 2021 he was the Chief Data & Analytics Officer with Genesys where, as a lead senior leadership member, he was responsible for enterprise data strategy building, engineering and architecture using agile methodology. In 2018, he joined Go Daddy where he met the challenge of managing a 300+ team in multiple international geographical segments as the Chief Data Officer. 2017 brought him to the gaming industry as he joined Activision/Blizzard, where he was the Vice President of Global Insights. In 2013, Mr. Peacock led the Walt Disney Studio’s Business Intelligence and Analytic Insights team across four segments, while in addition setting the R&D agenda for strategic investments in advanced analytics practice. His experience and involvement contributed to the launch of Disney Movies Anywhere which ultimately became Disney+. Prior to joining Disney, Mr. Peacock was Senior Business Leader of Data Administration at Visa where he was responsible for data quality, data architecture, metadata, and master data management. Until June 2009, Mr. Peacock was VP of Business Intelligence at Netflix, responsible for the BI strategy, architecture, tool set, infrastructure, and the development of internal software tools designed to automate strategic parts of the Netflix business. Prior to joining Netflix in 2006, he served as SVP & CTO of Capital One’s US Card Division. Having joined Capital One in 1998, Mr. Peacock held a variety of positions in US Card Marketing and Analysis, Credit Risk Management, and Information Technology. Mr. Peacock has over 30 years of business intelligence, software development, architecture, and design experience. He lives in Rochelle, Virginia with his wife Sunny, on a beautiful working farm and enjoys exercising his culinary talents for family and friends.
