Jim Brenner currently serves as the Executive Director of Marketing and Admissions for SCU and provides marketing oversight for SCU Health. Prior to SCU, Jim was the head of marketing for Brookline College and Carrington College (part of the prior DeVry Education Group), a network 26 of campuses located throughout the West focused on providing education in the healthcare space. Before being involved in education, he was the Chief Marketing Officer for Furniture Brands International and had responsibility for top brands in the furniture space. He has held a variety of marketing leadership positions, including Chief Marketing Officer for LasikPlus/LCA Vision, Vice President of Marketing at Nautilus Inc., and Senior Vice President of Schwan’s Home Service.
Earlier in his career, Jim spent seven years at The Coca-Cola Company, focused on driving the growth of the Minute Maid brand globally and leading the development of Simply Orange, Coca-Cola’s 13th billion-dollar brand. He also served at The Quaker Oats Company in a variety of positions including marketing and engineering. Jim earned an M.B.A. in Marketing from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University.
