PA Gomez was born in Pasadena, California, to immigrant parents from Mexico and Brazil. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of California, Irvine. After earning a bachelor’s degree in biology, she completed 1 year of clinical research at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, then pursued a high school teaching career at La Salle High School in Pasadena, California.
After 4 years of teaching, she returned to school and attended Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Illinois, to obtain her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. As a National Health Scholar, she pursued the field of Family Practice Physician Assistant and has worked in Community Health Centers, University Heath Centers, private practice Urgent care and Family Practice clinics. She has special interests in Dermatology, Women’s Health, College Health, and Diabetes.
PA Gomez is the proud mother of an 8-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old son. As a mother of a son with Autism, she has expanded her knowledge in working with the special needs population. She loves dancing, amusement parks, and traveling.
