SCU Cares “Drive-ing Change Event”
SCU is celebrating and honoring the many ways in which we contribute to our campus and the community at-large through volunteer and community service projects.
Join us Tuesday, Nov. 22nd at the SCU Standard Process Pavilion for the first of many SCU Cares events. This "Drive-ing Change" event offers an opportunity for faculty, staff, students–and the surrounding community to come together in the name of helping others.
10am-4pm – All donors receive a ticket to Thanksgiving Dinner from 4-7pm! For questions regarding blood donor eligibility, contact the PIH Health Blood Donor Center at 562.789.5433 or email Blood.Donor@PIHHealth.org.
Drop off non-perishable items 10am-4pm.
12pm-5pm – This is a special event as part of the White House Healthy Campus Challenge, an initiative to help individuals enroll for health coverage as part of the Affordable Care Act.
SCU’s participation does not represent affiliation or promotion of any political party, but seeks to help our community within the current governmental framework for health insurance.
