SCU faculty and students at the Whittier Community Resource Center

Three years ago SCU faculty member, Dr. Amir Aghlara, DC, opened SCU’s chiropractic clinic at the Whittier Community Resource Center (CRC). The goal of the clinic is to provide much-needed services to low income patients. With the assistance of SCU chiropractic students, the clinic is doing extremely well. Recently, the CRC opened a medical center—providing a true opportunity for integrative healthcare in a community setting. Dr. Aghlara will work closely with medical doctors at the center, offering prescription notes and cross-referring patients. On site for the opening was SCU faculty, Dr. Aghlara, Dr. Sackett, and Dr. Egan.
