SCU’s Commencement Ceremony represents the culmination of a student’s academic achievement. It is a time to celebrate, reflect, and share joy in your accomplishments. At this event, each graduate will cross the stage, have their name read aloud, and receive a diploma cover for their degree or certificate. Friends and family are permitted to attend this event.

Valet parking is available for $25.00. Limited self-parking is available across the street near the beach for $15.00.

Commencement Speaker Dr. Tracy Gaudet
Tracy Gaudet, MD will serve as the keynote speaker for the SCU Class of 2023 Commencement Ceremony.
Dr. Gaudet is a leader in the development of Whole Health through decades of radically re-envisioning and implementing new approaches to address health outcomes and costs. She is co-founder of the Cornerstone Collaboration for Societal Change, the nation’s leading expert in whole health, and worked alongside SCU to develop the first-everDoctor of Whole Health Leadershipprogram.
