SCU Faculty join elite 3% of Chiropractors Certified in Cox Technic Protocols.
We would like to announce that Dr. Paul Wanlass, D.C., and Dr. Sarah Dirks, D.C., are now certified in both the lumbar spine and cervical spine protocols of the Cox® Technic System of Spinal Pain Management and Relief. This system is evidence-based and research-documented via federally funded and clinically collected research studies to reduce intradiscal pressures leading to pain relief. Cox® Technic is utilized by physicians around the world to treat low back and legpain, neck, and arm pain, as well as other spinal pain conditions (synovial cysts, degenerated discs, herniated discs, stenosis, spondylolisthesis, facet syndrome, etc.). 63.7% of US chiropractic physicians report that they use flexion distraction according to the 2010 National Board of Chiropractic Examiners Report. Around 3% of US chiropractors have been certified in Cox® Technic protocols.
Having completed both certification courses, Dr. Paul Wanlass, D.C., and Dr. Sarah Dirks, D.C. have demonstrated an understanding of the lumbar spine and cervical spine pain conditions and application of the Cox® Technic protocols for non-surgical pain relief of low back pain, leg pain, neck pain, and arm pain.
