The Beyond the Pain campaign launch is the commercial, which begins with the thirty-second chiropractic commercial, which ran five times on NBC Networks during the Summer Olympic Games and reached over 204 million individuals. The commercial serves to educate consumers about the benefits of chiropractic care and promote a healthcare career as a doctor of chiropractic (DC).
Erica Witter-Davis, DC, is a former professional sprinter who now runs her own practice in California. Before the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia, Dr. Witter-Davis found herself with a leg injury, unsure if she could compete. This experience motivated Dr. Witter-Davis to pursue her own career in chiropractic, merging her knowledge of human biomechanics and chiropractic care to work closely with many elite athletes, weekend warriors, and the public. We hope that her story will also inspire the next generation of sports chiropractors to bring their love for athletics into rewarding career-changing lives.
