“I highly recommend the SCU Ayurveda program to anyone who wants to first and foremost improve their own health and overall wellbeing. The teachers are excellent- extremely experienced and enormously generous in their efforts to share their knowledge. They each brought their own individual wisdom to the course and this really enriched my learning experience. I loved this program so much that I traveled monthly from my home in Vancouver to attend class at SCUHS. The illumination of knowledge I received in this program has truly been life-changing.”
Julie Bernier – Ayurveda Certificate Program Graduate
“I am truly grateful for being in the Ayurveda program at SCUHS. All the other Professors have done an excellent job in conveying the concepts and providing resources to help us grasp this beautiful science, art, & philosophy. It is interesting coming from the Chiropractic program to note even more passion in the Ayurveda students and the professors. The curriculum is well structured and the topics build off each other. There is a good balance of theory and practical applications. Although there may be foreign concepts, the faculty caters to the student’s needs and shortcomings. I am very excited to be part of this program and the Ayurveda/Integrative Medicine community. I look forward to working with the my colleagues & the challenge of shifting the world’s perspective on health.”

“The Ayurvedic program at SCU is the most fulfilling and meaningful program that I have ever experienced at any college. This program is perfect for the modern student in that that it meets one weekend every month in person and includes virtual classes and e-learning classes as well. I travel to class once a month from New York City and still feel very connected to my teachers and classmates. Every month we get to learn a bit of ancient history and wisdom that has complete relevance in our modern society today. The most phenomenal thing about Ayurveda is that humanity truly needs this healing wisdom now more than ever. As technology and information speeds up, we need to return to simplicity and the fundamental truths in nature to heal the body, mind and spirit. SCU is so very lucky to have a brilliant team of Ayurvedic doctors who are scholars and researchers committed to teaching in the classical way. The Science of Ayurveda is a vast and almighty ocean of wisdom that brings more peace into your life, more joy into your life and more health into your life. Thank you SCU for this most wonderful program!”

“When I first discovered Ayurvedic Medicine I really only knew the simple fundamentals of what was involved in the practice. I come from a fitness background, this industry strives on giving people diets that are based on high levels of protein and excess workout regimens. Though I found this effective I didn’t see myself internally feeling healthy, I felt bombarded with varying results, not the results I necessarily wanted. I searched and searched different weight loss programs and eventually came across veganism. I am still currently vegan but Ayurvedic Medicine has taught me how to be even more aware of the qualities of my food and my daily practices that will elongate my life and prevent future illnesses alongside of being able to continue my vegan lifestyle. The Ayurvedic program at Southern California University of Health Sciences goes into extensive details very quickly. You learn all the basic fundamentals within the first month and than you are off and running. The program allows for you to be a unique individual within your own practice as well as being able to treat all sorts of ailments in others. It isn’t just a practice of eating well, it is also a practice of achieving ultimate health. no pills, no extreme dieting, no feelings of discomfort in the body, only health and well being. This science is in it’s name, Ayurvedic Medicine is the science of life. I highly recommend this program as the professors are really professional and helpful and the resources you acquire will develop your practice at a deeper level. If learning Ayurvedic Medicine is what is going to push you into the next part of your life, Do It!! It will change your life and others forever.”
