With his Dynamic Health Talk Radio Show, Dr. Bruce C Richardson has put his chiropractic education to good use. After getting his DC degree in 1992, Dr. Richardson continued his professional training, obtaining additional certifications in Chiropractic Spinal Trauma and Chiropractic Physiotherapy.  His professional interests include the providing care to women during pregnancy, the gentle adjustment of the elderly, treating infants and children, and Manipulation Under Anesthesia.  He has pursued special studies in each of these areas to increase his expertise. Dr. Richardson has two children at home who keep him busy outside of his professional responsibilities.

Dr. Bryan Atkinson completed his undergraduate pre-chiropractic education at Utah State University before receiving a BS in Human Biology and a DC degree from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic.  He deeply supports the activities of his four boys, in addition to his involvement in his church community and the local Boy Scouts.  When he has time to spare, he enjoys hiking, camping, swimming, and biking.

Dr. Dallas Cann received his BS in Sports Medicine from Brigham Young University before becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2002.  With a strong interest in sports chiropractic, he is also an ATC (Athletic Trainer, Certified).  Dr. Cann gives Health Talks at local community centers and conducts Back Pain Management classes in his office to promote wellness in his community.  In his free time, he enjoys snowboarding - although he admits there isn’t much of that in Arizona!

Dr. Gerald W Parks studied Biology at Arizona State University prior to receiving his DC degree in 1984.  He has additional certification in Physiotherapy and Traction.  He is actively involved in his community as a member of the Salvation Army Advisory Board.  His personal interests include horses, golf, weight training, and cardiovascular conditioning.

Jolene Kuty earned her BS degree in Psychology summa Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin at Madison before going on to graduate as Valedictorian of her 2005 class in the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic at SCU. She maintains her physiotherapy licensure for the state of Arizona. Dr. Kuty is a strong advocate for chiropractic research and profession and for healthcare reform. Her personal interests include theatre, music (singing, composing, and playing piano), hiking, dance, and her vegetable garden.

After graduating with his BS in Sociology from ASU,  Dr. Kevin Gilbertson got his DC degree in 1993, and then went on to the University of Arizona to receive an MS degree in Exercise Physiology.  Dr. Gilbertson has the rare opportunity to teach medical students about chiropractic during a four-hour Lecture/Workshop at Phoenix Baptist Hospital and as part of their intern program.  As a Cox-certified chiropractor, he has been involved on the Board of the AZ Association of Chiropractic for many years, currently serving as Treasurer.  Dr. Gilbertson also ushers at his church and helps out at the local school as a way of giving back to his community.  In his free time, he likes to hike, run, swim, and play Frisbee golf “preferably all with my family.”

Dr. Kori Sprintz was born and raised in Yuma, AZ. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arizona in Tucson with a degree in Physiology and she received her doctor of chiropractic degree from the Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2003. Dr. Kori has also completed over 100 hours of post-graduate work with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is certified in Webster Technique. She has also earned a Fellowship from the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture and is licensed to practice acupuncture in Arizona.

Dr. Jon Sprintz is from Winnipeg, Canada. He graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and then matriculated at the Southern California University of Health Sciences where he received his doctor of chiropractic degree in 2003. He was able to complete his chiropractic internship in Scottsdale, AZ. before opening Health for Life Chiropractic and Wellness Center in Mesa. Dr. Jon has extensive post-graduate training in a variety of chiropractic techniques for treating spinal and extremity problems as well treating infants and children. It is his passion to help families get well and stay well for a lifetime as naturally as possible.

Dr. Kurt G von Rice completed pre-chiropractic coursework at Phoenix College, ASU, and the University of Houston before coming to California to receive his Doctor of Chiropractic degeree in December 1988.  He currently serves on the SCU Alumni Association Board, contributing his leadership skills to the on-going success of the university.

Dr. Majera Mejidi studied Microbiology at Arizona State University before completing is DC degree in 2000.  He is now “heavily involved in supporting the Dance communities of metropolitan Phoenix.”  Dr. Majidi reports, “I sponsor an internationally recognized dance team and donate/volunteer time or services to professional dance events and competitions.  I'm also on an events committee for the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Arts.  I volunteer for a program called the Golden Gate Guild, which coordinates events to raise money for a community center in a very poor neighborhood in Phoenix.  Year-round, I donate chiropractic services for different Charities' silent auctions which include Muscular Dystrophy, Leukemia Society, Phoenix Children's Hospital, Boys & Girls Club, etc....”  In his spare time, he enjoys music, racquetball, and real estate.

Dr. Monte D Hessler completed his pre-chiropractic education at the University of LaVerne before receiving his DC degree in 1985.  He specializes in sports medicine, including prevention and treatment of musculoskeletal (muscle, tendon, ligament, joint) injuries.  He is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (CCSP) on the medical staff for the Phoenix Suns and the Phoenix Mercury, as well as with the PGA.  Dr. Hessler acts as a consultant to the San Francisco Giants and Chicago Cubs as well as for the Arizona State Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
