ENTREPRENEURIAL-LEADERS FOR THE HEALTH SCIENCES
SCU’s Practice of Prosperity Academy offers entrepreneurship and leadership programs, services, and resources to students, faculty, staff and community members both on the SCU Whittier campus and at our other sites and locations throughout the region. The POP Academy’s mission is to encourage entrepreneurial leadership across the rich context of the health sciences. In an era of increasing accountability for health care practitioners, doctors, and medical professionals from all disciplines, providing awareness and initiatives that increase competency in the skills, tools and art of business and communication are paramount to our mission.
The POP Academy sponsors events for students, faculty, staff, practitioners, entrepreneurs, and staff throughout the year, including workshops, public workshops and seminars, forums and discussion groups, practitioner business plan assistance, symposia, professional SPS courses, and lectures.

Dr. Jay Robbins
Dr. Robbins has a successful chiropractic/nutrition practice in Covina, California. An extremely popular speaker on nutrition, he presents to doctors frequently in cities around the country. He graduated with honors from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1988. He is a Diplomate of the American Clinical Board of Nutrition and a Certified Clinical Nutritionist.
