Course Structure
The Complete Course is 1000 hrs. completed in 12 months, through three trimesters of course and hands-on (clinic) work. Choose the schedule that is right for you. Day and night classes available.

All class sessions are held at SCU Campus Whittier, CA
Class Schedule:
SCU Offers both a Day and Night Program. Entire 1000 hour program can be completed in 12 months, three trimesters. Each trimester meets for 4 months.
- Classes are offered Monday through Thursday.
- Day classes meet from 9:00am - 2:00pm
- Night classes meet from 5:00pm - 10:00pm
- Both Day and Night classes meet every other Saturday for Weekend Workshops.
- Each trimester requires completed hands-on (clinic hours) and 25 hours of the online learning component.

Course Requirements
The minimum course requirements are successful completion of the entire 1000 hour program.
A certificate of completion be awarded to those students who complete all course requirements, including exams, practical sessions, externship and distance learning. Graduates will be eligible to sit for the National Certification Examination administered by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
Enrollment
Prospective students must submit a registration form and must possess a high school diploma or GED.
Advanced Standing
If you are a current SCU DC or AOM student, licensed massage therapist, occupational or physical therapy assistant you may request a transcript evaluation to determine if you are eligible for advanced standing. You can upgrade your hours and skills to meet the National Certification Examination requirements.
Externship
Outside practical experiences: Average of 6-8 hours per week to be scheduled with course coordinator. This will be scheduled with outpatient and in-patient facilities supervised by credentialed doctors of chiropractic and other healthcare professionals.
All trimesters are cumulative and lead directly into the next. Since this is created as a continuous cohort model, a student can take time off before entering into the next trimester.
