How long is an Ayurvedic consultation session?
The session could last anything from 30 to 60 minutes depending upon the needs of the patient.

What can I expect from a consultation session?
A typical consultation would include patient history interview, Ayurvedic constitutional analysis, examination from an Ayurvedic point of view (tongue and pulse examination), and Ayurvedic diagnosis. Based on the Ayurvedic diagnosis and assessment, an individualized treatment plan that may include herbs, oil massages, dietary consultation, and lifestyle advice will be given to the patients.

Where do I get the Ayurvedic herbs and supplements?
Currently, Ayurvedic herbs are not dispensed at our health centers. However they are available for purchase from online merchants. The practitioner will give you websites where they are available, and you can purchase directly from that source. Additionally, certain Indian grocery stores may carry the herbs and supplements.

Is Ayurvedic Medicine licensed in the United States?
Ayurvedic Medicine is not licensed in the United States at this time. However, it is legal to practice in California and many other states as an Ayurvedic health care practitioner if education and training details are stated.
