Stephen M. Perle, D.C., M.S.
Stephen M. Perle, D.C., M.S. is a Professor of Clinical Sciences at the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic. A 1983 graduate of Texas Chiropractic College and 2002 graduate of Southern Connecticut State University with an MS in Exercise Sciences. Dr. Perle has lectured extensively on a variety of topics, has many peer reviewed publications and has contributed over a half a dozen textbook chapters. He has published numerous papers in the peer reviewed literature as well as many textbook chapters.
Since 2002 Dr. Perle has written a column on ethics in Dynamic Chiropractic and serves on the editorial board of Chiropractic & Osteopathy. Prior to his 1991 appointment to the faculty of UBCC he practiced in New York City, specializing in sports chiropractic. In 2004 he was named the ACA Academician of the Year and the following year was promoted to full professor, the first chiropractor at the University of Bridgeport to achieve that rank.
