San Hong Hwang, LAc., OMD

Dr. San Hong Hwang is a well-known acupuncturist with a great reputation in the acupuncture profession. He has been teaching acupuncture and Oriental medicine (AOM) at many acupuncture colleges in Southern California for 26 years. Dr. Hwang is one of the founding members who helped establish the College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCU, formerly LACC) in 2001. With an MD degree from Taiwan, Dr. Hwang has devoted to integrating both Oriental and Western medicine in his clinical practice and in his teachings as well. Dr. Hwang is currently the AOM Clinical Director and a senior faculty at SCU. Dr. Hwang is an enthusiastic and dedicated educator in AOM education and internship training.
