Farded Mobin, MD

Dr. Mobin earned his medical degree with highest honors at University of California, Davis. He completed his neurosurgical training with an emphasis on complex spinal surgery at UC Davis. Upon completion of his residency, he received specialized training in microsurgery as a UCLA Cerebrovascular and Skull Base Fellow. Dr. Mobin has held faculty positions at UC Davis and has received numerous awards including Alpha Omega Alpha and Outstanding Senior Resident of Neurosurgery at the UC Davis School of Medicine. Dr. Mobin uses some of the latest image-guidance techniques for minimally invasive surgeries, which can result in less post-operative pain and shorter hospitalization. His practice encompasses general neurosurgery, with an emphasis on diagnosis and treatment of sport-related/ traumatic spinal injuries, degenerative disc disease, cervical and lumbar radiculopathies-sciatica and ruptured disc disease and central nervous system tumors.

Edward Carden, MD

As a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist, Dr. Edward Carden is internationally revered for his work both in the field of pain management and anesthesia-related inventions including endotracheal tubes and ventilators. With over 15 years of experience in Interventional Pain Management, he specializes primarily in the treatment of complex regional pain syndrome, fibromyalgia, and cervicogenic headaches. After graduating from the University of Cambridge Medical School, Dr. Carden completed his residency in Vancouver, British Columbia. Dedicated to education, he has taught at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and at the University of California, Los Angeles. At present, he is a clinical professor at the University of Southern California. The author of more than 60 publications, Dr. Carden has spoken often in professional and public settings about pain management and frequently appears as an expert on the subject on national television.

George Graf, MD

Dr. Graf is a board certified internist and anesthesiologist who came to Los Angeles from the Yale University School of Medicine where he served as a member of the academic faculty. He has been active in the research and development of various anti-nausea and pain medications and has published works on various topics in critical care and anesthesia. He believes that the complexities of chemical dependency demand the dedication of a multi-talented team of professionals. Previously president of AMGI, he founded Advanced Pain Treatment and Diagnostics Medical Group to continue his commitment to the development of dynamic teams that will lead the field in detoxification and pain treatment. Dr. Graf is married and is the father of two sons and a daughter.

Michael Port, MD

Dr. Port practices Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine in Los Angeles and Marina Del Rey, California. Dr. Michael Port, a male, graduated from the Mt Sinai School of Med of the City University of NY with an MD and has been in the profession for 16 years.

Sanjay Khurana, MD

Dr. Khurana graduated from Stanford Medical School and served his Spinal Reconstruction Fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami and his Pediatric and Adult Spine and Deformity Fellowship at Miami Children’s Hospital. In addition to teaching at Stanford University School of Medicine, Dr. Khurana has received numerous awards including the 2000 Volvo Corporation Award for the Clinical Study of Lower Back Pain, the Outstanding Abstract Award from the North American Spine Society, the Outstanding Poster Award from the North American Spine Society, and an Orthopedic Hospital Research Award from the California Orthopaedic Association. With 10 years of experience, he remains committed to his interests in minimally invasive lumbar and cervical microsurgery, adult degenerative scoliosis, spine tumors and disc replacement technology.

Amir Vokshoor, MD

Dr. Vokshoor is a board-certified neurosurgeon who specializes in the surgical treatment of spinal disorders. He focuses on a multi-disciplinary approach to treat spinal problems with non-surgical or minimally invasive methods employed whenever possible. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia of the Virginia Commonwealth University where was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. He completed his neurosurgery residency training at the Ohio State University and obtained additional complex spine fellowship training at the University of South Florida. He began his practice with the Kaiser Permanente health system where he served as the chief of neurosurgery at the Woodland Hills Medical Center and assistant chief of neurosurgery at the Los Angeles Medical Center where he gained additional experience with tumor removal and deformity correction. He served as a north American board member of the international spine research society (ARGOS) via collaboration with founding colleagues in Europe. Dr. Vokshoor is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, North American Spine Society and California Association of Neurological Surgeons
