Calen Huang, PhD, LAc

Dr. Huang is Associate Professor at Southern California University of Health Sciences. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy, Master of Medical Science and Doctor of Medical Science (PhD) from China Medical University (Taiwan). She also completed her postdoctoral clinical training in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at China Medical University Hospital. She is board certified by the State of California.

Dr. Huang was an official for the Committee on Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy, Department of Health, Executive Yuan (branch of the Taiwanese government) which manages nationwide Traditional Chinese Medicine issues. In addition, Dr. Huang was a faculty member at China Medical University where she taught courses in acupuncture, herbal formulas and the Yellow Emperor's Medicine Classic.

Dr. Huang has been in practice since 1984 specializing in cardiovascular disease and pain management. She enjoys dedicating herself to teaching, studying and service.
