Be a Certified Ayurveda Practitioner

Ayurveda is a holistic system of healing which was established 5000 years ago. The main focus is on balancing the life energy within the body and mind. It recognizes the unique constitutional differences of all individuals and therefore recommends different regimens for different types of people. Ayurveda is a complete medical system which recognizes that ultimately all intelligence and wisdom flows from one absolute source. This ancient science is not just about healing, but a form of lifestyle that helps maintain harmony within existence. Over the last century, Ayurvedic medicine has experienced a rebirth and has continued to evolve its holistic approach to health.

This certificate level program is designed to impart adequate theoretical and hands on training in the science of Ayurveda with experienced faculty trained in India. Upon completion the student will be able to utilize the knowledge and practice.

The complete course is 900 hrs. Completed in 20 months through five trimesters of course and hands-on clinic.

  • Basic Principles of Ayurveda (75hrs)
  • Ayurvedic Terminology (30hrs)
  • Ayurvedic History & Philosophy (30hrs)
  • Ayurvedic Psychology, Yoga and Lifestyle (60hrs)
  • Ayurvedic Herbology (95hrs)
  • Ayurvedic Dietics and Nutrition in Health Diseases (45hrs)
  • Ayurvedic pathology and Diagnosis (90hrs)
  • Marma and Panchakarma (90Hrs)
  • Disease Management (120hrs)
  • Rasayana (45hrs)
  • Internship (100hrs)

Class Schedule:

Classes are offered every Wednesday evening 5pm to 9 pm, Sunday 9am to 6pm. The programs can be completed in one year including online components for course work.

Advanced standing

Students from AOM, DC and all other health professionals will receive advanced standing credits for Anatomy and Physiology classes provided they have completed 120 hrs of classes.
