SCU’s College of Eastern Medicine Welcomes Special Guests to Campus
SCU recently hosted an on-campus visit for 25 administrators and faculty from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The goal of the visit was for the guests to learn about SCU’s College of Eastern Medicine (CEM), and more specifically, explore SCU’s groundbreaking Interprofessional educational model.
After a meet and greet session with SCU President, Dr. Scaringe, Chief of Staff, Chuck Sweet, and SCU faculty, staff, and students—the guests learned about SCU’s programs through a presentation led by Jenny Yu, Interim Dean, College of Eastern Medicine. The visit also included a luncheon, innovative classrooms, and tour of the campus, comprised of a visit to the SCU Health System, a demonstration of the Anatamage 3D Digital Imaging System, and more.
“We’re always thrilled to welcome special guests to our campus. As we continue to work toward our vision of becoming the premier evidence-based integrative healthcare university, we rely on our colleagues from institutes of higher education for an exchange of ideas, partnerships, and support,” says Dr. Scaringe.
